하나님의 마음을 감동시키는 믿음
다니엘 3:17-18에서 다니엘과 그의 친구들은 느부갓네살 왕에게 이렇게 말합니다.
“하나님께서 우리를 풀무불 가운데에서도, 왕의 손에서도 능히 건져내실 것입니다.
그러나 설령 그렇게 하지 않으시더라도, 우리는 왕의 신들과 금 신상에게 절하지 않을 것입니다.”
그 이후, 하나님께서는 다니엘과 그의 친구들을 풀무불속에서 지켜주셨습니다.
그리고 그것을 본 느부갓네살왕의 마음에 사람을 구원할 다른신이 다니엘과 그의친구들이 믿는 이 하나님외에는 없다는것을 깨닫게하셨습니다.
하나님을 향한 다니엘과 그 친구들의 믿음이 얼마나 깊은지 생각하게 됩니다.
설령 하나님께서 그들이 생각하는 방식으로 하지 않으시더라도, 그들의 믿음에 흔들림이 없을것임을 확신하는 마음을 배우고 싶습니다.
그런 마음에 하나님께선 감동하실겁니다.
그리고 하나님께서는 내 영혼이 안전하게될 가장 선한 방법으로 가장 알맞은때에 일하실것입니다.
하나님께서는 계획하신 방법으로 내 마음과 생각을 지켜주시고,
하나님의 기적을 경험하게 도우시며,
내 삶에서 하나님의 향기가 나도록 도우실것입니다.
하나님의 방법이 내가 원하는 방법이든, 혹은 그렇지 않은 방법이든,
하나님께서 일하실 때 모든 것은 협력하여 선을 이룰 것을 믿습니다.
오늘도 온 마음을 다해 하나님 안에서 나의 이 믿음을 지키고 싶습니다.
하나님을 향한 내 눈과 마음과 귀와 입술과 그리고 내 발걸음이 다른 방향으로 향하지 않도록,
오직 하나님만을 바라보며 그분의 능력과 모든 계획을 믿습니다.
Faith That Touches God’s Heart
In Daniel 3:17–18, Daniel and his friends said to King Nebuchadnezzar,
“Our God is able to save us from the blazing furnace and from your hand.
But even if He does not, we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up."
After that, God protected Daniel and his friends in the blazing fire.
When King Nebuchadnezzar saw this, God helped him realize that there is no other god who can save people except the God whom Daniel and his friends believe in.
This makes me think about how deep their faith was.
I want to learn to have a heart that stays firm in faith, even if God does not work in the way I expect.
God will be moved by a heart like that.
And God will work at the right time in the best way for my soul to be safe.
He will protect my heart and mind through His perfect plan.
He will help me experience His miracles.
He will also help my life give off the beautiful fragrance of His presence.
Whether His way is what I want or something else,
I believe that when God works, everything will come together for good.
Today, I want to keep this faith in God with all my heart.
I pray that my eyes, my heart, my ears, my lips, and even my steps will not turn in another direction.
I want to look only to God and trust in His power and every plan He has.
