십자가를 지는 진정한 의미

누가복음 9장 23절 

“또 무리에게 이르시되 아무든지 나를 따라 오려거든 자기를 부인하고 날마다 제 십자가를 지고 나를 좇을 것이니라”

 

옛날에, 십자가를 지는 것에 대해 생각할 때, 그것은 마음으로부터 많은 고통과 희생을 필요로 한다고 생각했습니다. 그렇지만 예수님에 대해 더 알게 된 후, 그런 저의 생각은 바뀌었습니다.

 

예수님은 천사들을 부를 수 있는 능력이 있으셨고, 그들로 하여금 자신을 십자가에서 내려오게 하실 수도 있었습니다.

우리는 우리가 사랑하는 것을 합니다. 그리고 우리는 우리의 마음 속에 있는 것을 말합니다.

그래서 저는 예수님께서 하신 일은 그분이 사랑하는 것을 따르신거라고 생각합니다. 그리고 그것은 하나님의 뜻이었습니다.

 

십자가에서, 인간의 몸은 죽게 될 것이고, 그러면 더 이상 인간의 본성은 존재하지 않게 됩니다.

영적으로, 우리가 인간의 본성을 부인할 때, 마침내 우리의 마음에 하나님의 영이 들어와 거할 공간이 생깁니다.

 

만약 우리가, 단지 인간의 말로가 아니라, 진심으로 하나님을 사랑한다면, 우리의 뜻을 부인하는 것은 하나님의 뜻을 먼저 구하는 우리에게는 아주 자연스러운 일일것입니다. 그리고 이것이 매일 십자가를 지는 것과 같은 의미인것같습니다.

이것이 사랑으로 기꺼이로 이루어질때, 우리 마음은 인간의 본성이 우리에게 느끼게 하는 고통이나 부담, 슬픔, 후회와는 아무 관계가 없게됩니다.

 

내 마음에 하나님의 뜻을 따른다고 하면서, 혹시 기꺼이 하지 않는 부분이 있다면, 그것은 내가 아직 완전히 내 뜻을 부인하지 않았다는 뜻일 것입니다.

예수님께서 하나님의 뜻을 얼마나 기쁘게 기꺼이 따르셨는지 생각해봅니다. 그리고 그분이 그것을 할 수 있었던 근원이 무엇이었는지 생각해봅니다. 그것은 사랑이었습니다.

 

예수님의 마음을 알게되는것은 내가 십자가를 지는 것에 대한 진정한 의미에대해 잘못 이해했던 모든 오해를 바로잡아 주었습니다.

아마도 많은 사람들이 아직도 숨겨진 진정한 의미보다, 십자가에서의 고통을 먼저 생각할지 모릅니다.

 

예수님의 마음이 사랑, 기쁨, 그리고 기꺼이 따르고자 하는 마음으로 가득 차 있다는 것을 보게 하신 하나님께 감사드립니다.

무엇을 바라보느냐에 따라, 우리 마음은 그것으로 가득 차게 될 것이고, 우리가 갈 방향이 결정됩니다.

하나님께서 제가 다시 예수님을 바라보고 닮아가게 도와주시고, 그래서 오늘 온마음으로 내 십자가를 지며 올바른 방향으로 기쁘게걸어갈 수 있게 도와주시길 바랍니다.

 

The True Meaning of Taking Up the Cross

 

Luke Chatper 9 Verse 23 

“Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”

 

A long time ago, when I thought about taking up the cross, I thought it must require a lot of pain and sacrifice in my heart. But after I got to know more about Jesus, those thoughts of mine changed.

 

Jesus had the power to call angels and could have had them take Him down from the cross.

We do what we love, and we say what’s inside our hearts.

So, I am sure that what Jesus did was to follow what He loved, and that was for the will of God.

On the cross, the human body is going to die, and human nature will no longer exist.

Spiritually, when we deny our human nature, there is finally room in our hearts for the Spirit of God to come and dwell with us.

 

If we truly love God with all our hearts, not just with human words, denying our own will may be a very natural thing for us who seek the will of God first. This seems the same meaning as taking up the cross daily.

When this is done willingly out of love, Our hearts are no longer related to the pain, burden, sorrow, or regret that human nature makes us feel.

 

If there is any part of my heart where I am not willingly following God's will, it would mean that I have not completely denied my own will.

I think about how joyfully and willingly Jesus followed God's will, and I think about the source that enabled Him to do so. It was love.

 

Getting to know the heart of Jesus corrected all my misunderstandings about the true meaning of taking up the cross.

Maybe many people still consider the pain on the cross first, rather than its hidden true meaning.

 

I am thankful to God for allowing me to see that Jesus' heart was filled with love, joy, and a willing heart to follow.

Depending on What we look at fills our hearts, and it guides the direction we take

May God help me to look to Jesus again today and become more like Him, so that I may take up my cross with all my heart and walk joyfully in the right direction.
