하나님의 눈에 소망있는

Luke 8:52-55

한 회당장의 딸이 죽었습니다. 모든 사람들이 그녀를 위해 통곡하고 애도하고 있었습니다.

예수께서 그 집에 가셔서 사람들에게 통곡을 멈추라고 말씀하시며, 그 딸이 죽은 것이 아니라 잠들었다고 말씀하셨습니다.

그때 사람들은 예수님을 비웃었습니다. 그러나 예수님께서 그 아이의 손을 붙잡으시자, 아이의 영이 돌아왔습니다.

사람의 눈에 소망이 없는 것처럼 보일지라도, 하나님 눈에 우리가 소망이 있는 이유는, 예수님께서 우리와 함께 하시기 때문입니다.

​

요한복음 6장 40절에 “내 아버지의 뜻은 아들을 보고 믿는 자마다 영생을 얻는 이것이니”라고 되어 있습니다.

이것이 바로 하나님의 뜻이고, 예수님께서 우리 안에 함께 하실 때, 우리의 영혼은 하나님께 소망 있는 존재가 됩니다.

그때 사람들도 그랬듯이, 지금도 많은 이들이 이 단순한 하나님의 진리를 알지 못하고 있을지도 모릅니다. 그래서 그들은 오늘도 세상의 소망을 찾기 위해 열심히 살아가고 있을 겁니다.

그렇지만, 만약 우리에게 이 귀한 진리를 알 수 있는 시간이 얼마 남지 않았다고 한다면, 우리는 어떻게 할까요?

저는 하나님의 진리는 복잡하거나 어려운 것이 아니고 인간의 생각으로 만든 규칙을 따르는 것도 아니라고 생각합니다.

우리가 하나님께서 사랑하시는 아들을 믿고 의지하며, 그분의 마음을 닮아가려고 노력하는 그것이 하나님께서 우리에게 가장 원하시는 일입니다.

세상에서 우리가 어떤 상태에 있든, 사람들의 눈에 우리가 부족해 보이고 설령 소망이없어 보일지라도, 하나님께는 소망 있는 자가 됩니다.

이것은 죄가많은 우리에게 베푸시는 하나님의 자비와 은혜이고, 하나님께서 하나뿐인 사랑하는 아들을 이 땅에 보내신 이유입니다.

하나님께서는 그만큼 우리 영혼을 사랑하십니다.

​

우리가 영원을 믿는다면, 우리 인생의 목적이, 사라질 이 인생이 아니라 바로 저 영원한 삶을 위해 살아가는 것임을 깨닫게 될 것입니다.

그렇게 하나님 눈에 소망 있는 자로 이 삶을 잘 마친다면, 그것이 바로 하나님께서 저에게 주신 뜻을 따르는 것이 아닐까요?

그 소망이 진정으로 제 것이 되도록, 예수님과 함께 오늘도 한 걸음 더 나아가기를 바랍니다.

Hopeful in God's eyes

​

Luke 8:52-55

The daughter of the synagogue leader had died. Everyone was weeping and mourning for her.

Jesus came to the house and told them to stop crying, saying that the girl was not dead, but asleep.

At that moment, people laughed at Him. However, when Jesus took the girl's hand, her spirit returned.

​

Even though it may seem like there is no hope in the eyes of people, the reason we have hope in God's eyes is because Jesus is with us.

​

In John 6:40, it says, "For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life."

This is God’s will, and when Jesus is with us, our souls become hopeful in His sight.

​

Just like the people back then, many today might still not understand this simple truth of God. So, they may be living their lives in search of hope in the world.

But what if the time left to learn this precious truth is running out? What would we do?

​

I believe that God's truth is not complicated or difficult, nor is it about following rules made by human thoughts.

What God desires most is that we believe in and depend on His beloved Son, and try to become more like His heart.

So when we walk with Jesus, no matter how we appear to others, we become people of hope in God’s eyes.

This is God's mercy and grace given to us, who are full of sin, and the reason why God sent His only beloved Son to this earth.

God loves our souls that much.

​

If we believe in eternity, we will come to realize that the purpose of our life is not for this fleeting life, but to live for that eternal life.

If I finish this life as someone who is hopeful in God's eyes, wouldn't that be following the purpose God has given me?

I hope to take one more step today with Jesus, so that this hope may truly become mine.
