군중 속 한 손길, 예수님께 닿은 믿음

누가복음 8:43-48

12년 동안 출혈이 있던 한 여인이 예수님의 옷자락을 만지자 즉시 출혈이 멈췄습니다.

예수님께서는 그 많은 군중속에서 자신에게 닿은 사람이 있었음을 아셨습니다. 베드로는 사람들이 예수님을 에워싸고 밀고 있다고 말했지만, 예수님께서는 특별한 어느 손길을 느끼셨습니다. 그 여인은 왜 예수님의 옷자락을 만졌는지 설명했고, 예수님께서는 “네 믿음이 너를 고쳤다. 평안히 가라”고 말씀하셨습니다.

이 장면에대해 생각하는 것을 즐깁니다.

예수님을 에워싼 군중 속에서 예수님의 옷자락에 닿거나 만졌던 사람들이 꽤 있었을겁니다. 그리고 그들도 예수님을 따르던 중이었습니다.

그렇지만 예수님께서는 그 여인의 손길만을 아셨습니다.

예수님께서는 이 수많은 사람들중에 진심으로 그를 찾는 사람의 마음과 그 믿음을 아시고 느끼십니다.

절실함과 예수님에 대한 믿음을 가진 그 여인의 손길만이 예수님께 의미가 있었던것처럼 말입니다.

제 기도가 예수님의 마음에 닿기를 원합니다.

내 기도가 얼마나 간절한 마음과 함께 드려지는지, 예수님께서 저를 도와주실 것이라 믿는 마음이 얼마나 깊은지에 대해 생각해보게 됩니다.

진심과 올바른 동기, 그리고 의심없는 믿음과 간절한 마음으로 드리는 기도는 하늘에 닿을것입니다.

사람들에게 듣기 좋게 하려는 기도는 하나님과 예수님께 의미가 없을것입니다.

하나님께서 제가 진심으로 온 마음을 다해 기도하도록 의심없는 마음과 정직함, 그리고 흔들리지 않는 믿음을 가질 수 있게 도와주시길 기도합니다.

A Touch in the Crowd, A Faith that Reached Jesus

Luke 8:43-48:

A woman who had been bleeding for 12 years immediately stopped bleeding when she touched the end of Jesus’s cloak. Jesus knew that someone had touched Him in the midst of the crowd. Peter said that many people were pushing against Him, but Jesus said that He felt a special touch. The woman explained why she touched His cloak, and Jesus said, "Your faith has healed you. Go in peace."

I enjoy reflecting on this scene.

There were likely many people in the crowd surrounding Jesus who touched or came into contact with His cloak in the surrounding crowd. And they were following Jesus, too. But Jesus only recognized the touch of this woman. Jesus knows and feels the heart and faith of those who sincerely seek Him among the many people. Just as only the woman's touch, filled with desperation and faith in Jesus, had meaning to Him.

I want my prayer to reach Jesus’s heart. I reflect on how earnest my prayer is and how deeply I believe that Jesus will help me. A prayer offered with sincerity, right motives, and unwavering faith will reach the heaven. A prayer spoken to please people will have no meaning to God and Jesus.

May God help me have a heart with sincerity and unwavering faith and without doubt so that I may pray with all my heart in true sincerity.
