예수님의 겸손한 가르침

 

누가복음 10장 17-20절

제자들은 기쁘게 예수님에게와서 "귀신들이 예수님의 이름으로 우리에게 굴복했습니다"라고 말했습니다.

예수님의 이름으로 이루어진 일이기 때문에, 그들에게는 정말 기쁜 일이었을 것 같습니다.

그렇지만 예수님은 그들에게 "너희 이름이 하늘에 기록된 것을 기뻐하라"고 말씀하셨습니다.

 

이 말씀을 통해, 예수님은 그들이 자신들의 행위에서 오는 기쁨을 넘어서 더 깊은 기쁨을 경험하기를 원하셨다는 생각이 들었습니다. "하늘에 기록되었다"는 말씀은 제게, 이미 하나님의 계획 안에 있다라는 의미로 다가왔습니다.

예수님은 그들이 하나님께로 마음을 향하며 감사함을 가지기를 원하셨던 것 같습니다.

하나님의 계획안에 있다는 확신은 하나님을 믿는 우리에게 감사할 일중에 하나이니까요.

 

우리가 적에게 대항하며 사용하는 모든 영적인 무기는 하나님께서 주신 것이며, 예수님 역시 하나님께서 보내셨습니다.

우리가 그 근원이 모두 하나님임을 분명히 안다면, 자연스럽게 모든 영광을 하나님께 돌리게 될 것입니다. 

그리고 그럴 때 하나님께선 우리의 마음을 더 깊은 기쁨과 평안으로 채워주실것입니다.

 

인간성은 일이 잘 될 때는 내자신을 자랑하게 하고, 일이 잘 되지 않으면 다른 사람을 찾아 비난하려 하게 만듭니다.

그렇지만 믿음과 감사로 먼저 하나님께 마음을 향한다면, 그 유혹을 뿌리칠수있는 힘을 주실것이고, 좋든 나쁘든 모든일에 하나님께 영광을 돌릴수있는 마음도 가질수있게 해주실겁니다.

 

예수님으로부터 겸손한 마음을 다시 배우고 있습니다.

예수님은 제자들에게 "내 이름으로 귀신을 쫓아낸 것이 잘했다"고 칭찬할 수 있었지만, 그렇게 하지 않으셨습니다.

제가 예수님께 배워야 할 것이 아직 많습니다.

하나님께서 아들을 우리에게 보내어 저의 완벽한 본보기가 되게 해주신것을 감사드립니다.

예수님이 아니었다면 하나님을 기쁘시게 하는 방법도 하나님께 나아가는 방법도 제대로 알지 못했을 것입니다.

 

Jesus' Humble Teachings

 

Luke10 17-20.

The disciples joyfully told Jesus, "Even the demons submit to us in Your name."

Because it was done in the name of Jesus, it must have been a truly joyful experience for them. However, Jesus told them, "Rejoice that your names are written in heaven."

 

Through this, I felt that Jesus wanted them to experience a deeper joy beyond the joy that comes from their own actions.

The phrase "written in heaven" came to me as a reminder that they were already within God's plan. It seems that Jesus wanted them to turn their hearts toward God with thankfulness.

The confidence of being in God's plan is one of the things we, as believers, should be thankful for.

 

All the spiritual weapons we use against the enemy are given by God, and even Jesus was sent by God. If we clearly understand that the source of all is God, we will naturally give all glory to Him. And in doing so, God will fill our hearts with deeper joy and peace.

 

Human nature drives us to boast about ourselves when things go well and to look for someone to blame when things do not. However, if we first turn our heart to God with faith and thankfulness, He will give us the strength to resist that temptation and help us have a heart that can give glory to Him in all things, whether good or bad.

 

I am learning the humble heart of Jesus once again.

Jesus could have praised the disciples, saying, "You did well to cast out demons in My name,"

but He did not.

There is still so much I need to learn from Him.

I am grateful that God sent His Son to be my perfect example.

Without Jesus, I would not truly know how to please God or how to approach Him.
