말씀이 빛처럼

 

"당신의 말씀이 펼쳐지면 빛이 비치고 어리석은 자에게는 깨달음이 있습니다."

시편 119:130

 

이 구절은 나에게 너무나 사실입니다.

그리고 이것이 제가 하나님의 말씀을 놓을 수 없는 이유입니다.

그 말씀은 매일 제 마음을 채워주고, 저를 낙담하게 하는 생각들을 떨쳐버릴 수 있도록 도와주며,

제가 어떻게 살아야 할지를 보여줍니다.

그 말씀은 이세상의 모든 영원하지 않은 것보다 영원한 것에 집중하게하고,

하나님께서 저를 얼마나 사랑하시는지 기억하도록 도와줍니다.

오늘도 저는 다시 하나님의 말씀 안에 거하며 그분의 가르침을 따르고 싶습니다.

 

The Word as Light

 

“The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭130‬

 

This is so true to me, and it is the reason I cannot set aside the words of God.

They feed my heart daily, help me cast away thoughts that bring me down, and show me how to live. They remind me to focus on eternal things rather than temporary ones and help me remember how much God loves me.

Today, once again, I choose to dwell in His words and follow His guidance.
