믿음을 자라나게 하는 순간들

 

고린도전서 2:5

 

“너희 믿음이 사람의 지혜에 있지 아니하고 다만 하나님의 능력에 있게 하려 하였노라”

 

어쩌면 우리는 성경에 대한 지식을 믿음이라고 착각할 때가 있을지도 모릅니다. 그렇지만 진정한 믿음은 살아계신 하나님의 능력을 실제로 경험하고, 그 힘에 의지할 때 가질 수 있고 자라날 수 있습니다.

유창한 언어나 설득력 있는 말, 지혜롭게 들리는 표현 때문이 아니라, 그것이 무엇이든 마음을 움직이는 어떤 힘을 느낄 때, 그리고 그것을 나눌 때, 살아 있는 믿음이 우리 안에서 자라날 수 있습니다.

 

성경을 읽고 기도하지만, 내가 정말 원하는 것은 성경에 대한 지식을 얻는 것이 아니라, 그 모든 과정을 통해 나를 위해 일하시는 하나님의 손길을 느끼고 경험하는 것입니다.

하나님의 말씀은 살아 있는 말씀이기에, 정해진 정답이 있는 것 같지는 않습니다. 왜냐하면 하나님께서는 누구든지, 어느 때든지, 그 사람이 처한 상황과 필요에 따라 말씀해주시기 때문입니다.

 

마치 빛이 어떤 물체에 비춰질 때, 그 물체의 각도에 따라 받는 빛의 밝기와 강도가 달라지듯, 살아 있는 하나님의 말씀도 각 사람의 형편과 마음에 따라 다르게 비춰지고, 다르게 느껴집니다.

그래서 같은 말씀도 나의 필요에 따라, 시절에 따라 깨달음이 달라지는 것 같습니다. 예민하고 선한 마음을 가져야 할 것 같습니다. 그래서 하나님께서 여러 방법으로 나에게 말씀하실 때, 그 뜻을 깨닫고 그것을 삶 속에서 경험할 수 있기를 바랍니다.

 

나의 믿음이 단순히 어떤 지식 위에 세워진 것이 아니라, 언제나 나의 살아계신 하나님안에 있고 그 안에서 자라나길 바랍니다.

 

Moments That Grow Faith

 

1 Corinthians 2:5

 

“so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.”

 

Sometimes, we might mistake knowing the Bible for having real faith.

But true faith comes when we experience the power of the living God and learn to rely on Him.

It doesn’t come from fluent speech, persuasive words, or wise-sounding expressions.

Faith grows when we feel something that truly moves our hearts, and when we share that with others.

 

I read the Bible and pray, but what I truly long for is not just gaining knowledge.

I want to feel and experience God’s hand working in my life through the Bible and through my everyday experiences.

God’s Word is alive, so it doesn’t always give a fixed answer.

Instead, He gives His Word to anyone, anytime, based on their situation and what they need.

 

It’s like when light shines on an object, the brightness and intensity change depending on the angle.

In the same way, the living Word of God shines and speaks to each of us differently, based on our hearts and circumstances.

So even the same verse can feel different and bring new understanding depending on the season and my needs.

 

That’s why I believe I need a sensitive and good heart.

So when God speaks to me in different ways, I can still understand His will and experience it in my life.

May my faith not be built merely on knowledge, but always rest in my living God and grow within Him.
